A grieving family have paid tribute to a ‘loving’ father-of-three who died in a crash with an Audi A5 while driving his motorbike.

Four men have been arrested since Paul Greenfield, from Stockton, Co Durham, died from the collision on the A1027 in Norton.

Paul’s wife described the 58-year-old as a ‘loving husband and father of three children’ after he died at 10pm, on June, 8.

A 29-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving, and another 24-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.

They both remain in police custody as a 24-year-old man is the fourth to be arrested and remains in police custody on suspicion of assisting an offender.

A man aged 25 was also arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender but was bailed as Durham Police enquiries continue.

Durham Constabulary say their thoughts remain with the man’s family and friends.

Officers have appealed for witnesses and anyone with CCTV or dashcam footage.

Anyone with have footage or information is asked to contact Cleveland Police on 101, quoting reference number 110807.

Paul’s family have asked the public to respect their privacy.
