What You Need for Wine Slushies

  • Sauvignon Blanc – any dry white works.
  • Rosé – make sure to rosé with no bubbles. Our go-to brand is Yes Way Rosé.
  • Pinot Noir – any kind of house red or a red blend works.

How to Make Wine Slushies

Wine slushies are ready to go in less than 10 minutes and with just 3 simple steps. Here’s how to make wine slushies.

  1. Assemble Ingredients: first, assemble your ingredients. Measure out everything that you need, while working quickly so that your frozen fruit and ice don’t melt.
  2. Blend, Blend, Blend: add all ingredients into a high-speed blender. Blend on high for 30-60 seconds or until everything is smooth. Option to add more ice as desired.
  3. Serve: serve your wine slushie immediately with garnishes of fresh fruit and herbs. Enjoy!

Boozy freeze pops are all the rage on social media. You can easily turn these wine slushies into popsicles. Here’s how to do it:

  1. Blend up your wine slushies as directed in the recipe card.
  2. Then, carefully pour the mixture into individual plastic freeze pop sleeves. Only fill to the line. Then remove as much air as possible and seal. Option to use a popsicle mold instead.
  3. Transfer them to a plate or a baking sheet and freeze them for at least 8 hours or until frozen.

Tropical Wine Slushies

  • 1 bottle Sauvignon Blanc
  • 16 oz frozen pineapple ~4 cups
  • 3 oz coconut rum we used Malibu
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 3 oz. simple syrup or more, to taste
  • 2 cups ice
  • Garnish: fresh mint and fresh pineapple

Watermelon Frosé Wine Slushies

  • 1 bottle Rosé
  • 4 cups frozen watermelon chunks
  • 1.5 oz simple syrup or more, to taste
  • 1-2 cups ice
  • Garnish: watermelon slices

Sangria Wine Slushies

  • 1 bottle Pinot Noir
  • 4 cups frozen strawberries
  • 4 oz. orange liquor
  • 3 oz. simple syrup or more, to taste
  • 1-2 cups ice
  • Garnish: fresh strawberries and orange slices
  • Place all ingredients into a high-speed blender.
  • Blend on high for 30-60 seconds or until your wine slushy has no lumps and it is smooth.pouring wine into blender.
  • Serve immediately.
  • Want it slushier? Add more ice if your blender is big enough! You can always pour some out and add more ice in sections.

Watermelon Wine Freezies Ingredients
  • 4 cups watermelon chunks, seeded
  • 1 bottle rose or white wine*
  • ⅓ cup simple syrup
Method
  1. Add the watermelon chunks to a high-powered blender. Blend until it turns to juice. Pour the watermelon through a fine sieve to catch the seeds. Use a spoon to push the watermelon through the sieve.
  2. Add the watermelon juice back into the blender and add the wine and simple syrup. Blend on low until just mixed.
  3. Carefully pour the mixture into individual plastic popsicle freezer tubes and seal them tightly.
  4. Transfer them to a plate or a baking sheet and freeze them for at least 3 hours or until frozen.
Sangria Wine Freezies Ingredients
  • 8 oz. Pinot Noir (any dry red blend works), we used a can
  • 2 cups frozen strawberries (or fresh)
  • 2 oz. orange liquor
  • 1.5 oz. simple syrup, or more to taste
  • 1 cup ice
Method
  1. Add all the ingredients into a high-speed blender.
  2. Blend on high until smooth. Give it a taste and add more simple syrup, to taste.
  3. Carefully pour the mixture into individual plastic freeze pop sleeves. Only fill to the line. Then remove as much air as possible and seal. Option to use a popsicle mold instead.
  4. Transfer them to a plate or a baking sheet and freeze them for at least 8 hours or until frozen.
