The Moon is waxing as the week gets underway. Emotions are intensifying. We find ourselves staying up later and later each night. By the end of the week, our dreams become super intense. Pay attention to the messages coming to you as you sleep. The first part of the week is a good time to tackle yoga sets that are more physically challenging. Our energy is outwardly directed. The big lunar climax comes on Friday. Use the weekend to rest, recharge, process and integrate. Take note that there is a solar sign change this week. On Thursday we say goodbye to the Cancer crab and welcome in Leo the lion. Let’s have fun. Summer is here!

The week begins on an emotional note with the Moon in the extreme water sign of Scorpio. Emotions are high. Use the morning to penetrate deeply into issues – either domestic or at the workplace – that need to be dealt with. Keep in mind at 12:30pm EST (9:30am PST), the Moon goes void-of-course and for the next four and a half hours, we find ourselves in a fog. During this time, make no major plans or decisions. Instead, just stick to routine tasks. Why? Because we have temporarily lost our intuition and sense of direction. Keep this in mind when dealing with others!

Moods lighten on Tuesday thanks to the Moon in upbeat, optimistic Sagittarius. There is always a reason to look on the bright side and today, you will find it. Be creative, stay flexible and go with the flow. Also, don’t be afraid to follow your whims. Your curious, exploring mind is searching for knowledge. Part of you longs for answers to the deeper questions of life. Don’t be afraid to ask. Seek out spiritual texts, teachers and/or experiences for the answers.

Take it easy during the morning on Wednesday. Stay on the sunny side of the street and don’t take anyone or anything too seriously. Toward the late afternoon and evening hours, the business-side of your brain kicks in. You may be feeling more grounded and reserved. Take time out if you need to. Spend time alone to recharge.

The big solar sign change comes on Thursday when the Sun moves from emotional, watery Cancer into fiery, loving Leo. The Sun is shining! Have fun and live it up. The next month calls for us to be social, romantic, and most importantly – be a kid again! Spend time with children. Let your own inner child come out and play. Role playing games are fun. Dress up in costumes, or at least, bright, happy clothing. Go to a show or create your own. Sing, dance and smile. Love with all your heart. Lead with your heart. Be generous. Share. Live these days to the fullest!

Speaking of Full, the Moon reaches her fullest point on Friday, marking the exact halfway point in her monthly cycle. As a result, we find that truth is being exposed. Information – and emotions – are coming to the surface. People are more bold with their words – and their actions. If an issue has been brewing lately, get ready for a showdown. The Full Moon is often the spark that ignites the fire that has been waiting to burn!

Lookout for unexpected events on Saturday. With the Moon in electric Aquarius, we find ourselves enjoying some fun surprises! People come out of the blue to share and say hello. This is the perfect time to connect with those of like minds.

There is a unique, rebellious side that wants to come out on Sunday. Go ahead and let this playful part of you be seen and heard. Speak your truth, regardless of how unpopular it might be. Need some inspiration in this department? Consider the album, “The Music Within” by Sat Darshan Singh and Sirgun Kaur. Tracks like “Aap Sahai” and “Gobinde” are perfect to add to your collection of 11-minute meditations to do for yoga classes or for your own personal practice. Take note that the energy shifts at 7:14pm EST (4:14pm PST). For the next four hours, the Moon is void-of-course. Relax and unwind. Don’t do any big planning for the week ahead!
