Three brothers, who coach different sports at different schools, are coming together in the summers to help make a difference for youth in their county.

Rick Perez, Rob and Matt Flowers are hosting ‘Three Brothers on a Mission,’ a fitness camp in Berks County, Pennsylvania. The camp is four days a week, with two hour training sessions.

Their goal for their program is to empower youth through mental and physical toughness, growth and compassion.

“It means a lot of love and how many people we can impact and influence throughout our time,” Rob Flowers, Daniel Boone head football coach, told 69News.

While Perez isn’t related to Rob and Matt by blood, he still considers them his brothers.

The men have shared a very close bond since they were kids, when the two families both moved into Muhlenberg at the same time.

Growing up together, they all developed a love for sports, and now they use this shared interest to inspire others.

“I believe our journey and the paths that we’re on will always be together,” Matt Flowers told 69News. “It just resembles our brotherhood that we stand by all the time.”

Since this fitness camp was a success, the brothers plan on continuing to host their camp every summer in the future.
