Shaquille O’Neal Buys Family Two New Cars In Generous Act Of Kindness

Kids are expensive, and when you have 9 of them and counting, you can just imagine how tight things might be. Doing basic things like grocery runs and family dinners becomes a challenge when you’ve got 9 babies, a dad, and a pregnant mama to account for!

It’s the reality the Collins family was facing. The pregnant mother, Karissa, already had 9 kids – a number that makes it nearly impossible to fit into a single vehicle. As you can imagine, going out to do stuff with that many kids is a logistical nightmare.

One thing that would help the family is a larger vehicle, something that could accommodate at least 12 passengers so they can each have a seat to call their own. If you’ve been in the market for a large vehicle recently, you know just how pricey a vehicle like that could be.

While $40,000-$70,000+ for a van or small bus may be a huge amount of money for a large family like the Collins, it’s a small sum of change for NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal. As Karissa shared on Instagram, Shaq ended up paying her family a surprise visit at their home in Haslet, Texas.

She said Shaq took her and her entire family to dinner and they got to hang out with him and get to know him. It wasn’t just his time he was generous with, either. The next day, Shaq showed back up at their house and escorted the family to the Mercedes-Benz dealership to pick out a new van!

A 15-seat van would make their lives so much easier and Shaq was gifting it to them for free!

She added, “And then when he saw my husband‘s truck that has been without air-conditioning and heat for a while he took us to a Ford dealership and blessed us with another truck.”

Shaq commented on the post saying, “Family is everything.” It’s a sweet reminder to be generous and offer a helping hand when you can.

Not everyone with extra money or time is willing to spend it so generously on other people, but it’s something Shaq dos from the goodness of his heart.
