Murray Gray’s mum is pushing for cannabis oil to be free on the NHS, as the family currently pay £1,000 a month for the treatment, which she says has seen her son seizure-free since 2019.
The mum of a Scottish schoolboy who was having “hundreds” of seizures a day is set to petition the Scottish Government to change the law around medicinal cannabis oil, after not having a single seizure since he started using it.
Karen Gray said her son Murray has not had a single seizure since he started the treatment in 2019. However, the treatment is not free for all – and as such, the Gray family are paying £1,000 a month for the treatment.
