The OnlyFans model accused of murdering her boyfriend in their Miami apartment is being sued by his family to cover his medical and funeral expenses.
Courtney Clenney, 26, is being sued for negligence by Christian Obumseli’s family, a year after she allegedly stabbed him to death on April 3, 2022.
Clenney was arrested for second-degree murder four months after his death and claimed she stabbed him in self-defense.
Photos of the crime scene showed a puddle of blood near an entryway of the couple’s apartment, the bloody knife supposedly used in the attack and Clenney drenched in Obumseli’s blood.
The lawsuit obtained by TMZ lists Clenney as a defendant, along with a few other undisclosed individuals.
Obumseli was rushed to the hospital but he died of his injuries. His family is convinced that Courtney was always the aggressor in their romance, and that she became a ‘different person’ when she drank

New photos released by the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office show OnlyFans model Courtney Clenney moments after she allegedly stabbed her boyfriend Christian Obumseli in April
Obumseli’s family believes Clenney is guilty for his murder despite her claims she was acting in self-defense.
Released 911 audio following the stabbing revealed Clenney told her former lover, ‘baby, I’m so sorry’ after allegedly plunging a knife into his shoulder.
She didn’t tell the operator that she had stabbed him, but sobbed to him about how sorry she was.
In the background, Obumseli can be heard crying out: ‘I can’t feel my arm.’
Graphic case photos have revealed that she stabbed her much larger boyfriend inches above a tattoo of her name in cursive on the left side of his chest.
At the time, Obumseli’s family said it showed that she intended to kill him, then regretted it once the knife had been plunged into him.
‘It shows her state of mind. She’s saying she’s sorry because she’s realizing what she’s done. She’s not saying, “I was defending myself,”‘ his family’s attorney, Larry Hadfield said.
Obumseli was rushed to the hospital but he died of his injuries.
Clenney was initially arrested but later released. It was not until several months later in August that she was arrested in Hawaii – she has been in custody since.
The victim’s family is convinced that Courtney was always the aggressor in their romance, and that she became a ‘different person’ when she drank.
They were also left irate over investigators failure to charge Clenney immediately over his death, saying it was ‘because of her “privilege” as a “wealthy white woman.”‘

Those injuries were reportedly severe enough that the since slain Obumseli would have to admit himself to a local hospital to receive stitches.
Then, two months before Obumseli’s death, security footage taken from the apartment building’s elevator also showed Clenney viscously attacking her boyfriend, who appeared not to fight back.
