NFL Quarterback Prospect Caught On Camera Helping Homeless Pregnant Woman

What you do when no one is watching really says a lot about your character.

Acts of kindness in any capacity are great, but there’s something extra special about when they’re done in privacy. It shows that the person is doing the deed out of the kindness of their heart and not for attention or recognition.

Of course, when people are kind when no one is watching we usually don’t hear about it. However, sometimes, people are caught when they don’t expect it and that’s what happened to Malik Willis.

Willis played football at Liberty University and he’s expected to be one of the quarterbacks selected in the 2022 NFL draft. He’s a talented athlete and some people believe he’ll go far.

It’s not just football that he’s known for now, either. Thanks to a viral video, Willis has earned the reputation of having a big heart and a willingness to help others.

In a clip shared by Ryan Lacey, a sports marketing and branding consultant, you can see Willis walking by a homeless woman, but he doesn’t walk past her. Instead, he stops and opens his suitcase and hands the woman several items, like shirts.

Ryan captioned the post saying, “Was having lunch yesterday and saw one of the Combine guys helping out someone on some hard times…@malikwillis being great even when nobody is watching. How can you not be a fan of this guy?”

Speaking with the NFL Network after the incident, Willis explained, “It was a pregnant lady and she was homeless. And I was just like, ‘Shoot, I don’t have no money, but I can give you a couple of shirts.'”

He went on to say, “I just felt like I had to do that. I mean, I’m at a position right now where I’m not worried about much of anything except getting better. So, if I can help her out any way, I felt like I had to.”
