Nearly Half Of Adult Americans Have Tried Cannabis: Poll
The number marks a small increase since 2017 and 2019, where 45 per cent of respondents admitted to having consumed the drug at least once.
It may not be federally legal, but nearly half of all adult Americans have consumed cannabis, according to newly-released statistics from Gallup’s annual Consumption Habits poll.
According to the Washington, D.C. based analytics and advisory company, a total of 49 per cent of U.S. adults said they had “tried” cannabis, marking the highest number of respondents measured by Gallup to date (both figuratively and, probably, literally).
