A young mum who became a successful OnlyFans star after losing her office admin role during lockdown in 2020 says her husband has always supported her online career.

Audrey Aura, 24, who used to take home $600-per-week in her old job now clears up to $10,000 per week on the popular site.

But she says no matter how successful she is in her role online most people’s first question remains the same: ‘What does your husband think?’.

‘The first thing people ask me when they find out I’m married. He has truly been 100 per cent supportive since the very beginning, supported me and encouraged me when I first mentioned my interest in the career, and has not had any issues since,’ she said.

She says it comes down to having a solid relationship and good communication.

‘My husband knows that this is a business before anything else. He respects my job, and understands that I am a different person online than I am at home,’ she said.

‘We set boundaries together when I first started, based on what we were both comfortable with, and we have continued to uphold those boundaries ever since.’

The star previously told FEMAIL her husband even helps out by holding the camera to help her capture videos for ‘specific requests’.

And it isn’t just outsiders who ponder the question, according to the woman who now teaches others how to build a following on the site.

‘It’s unfortunate that people are shocked by this information, stating that they wish their partners were just as understanding and supportive,’ she said.

Audrey’s husband and young son are both on the Autistism Spectrum, she is excited to be able to have a job where she can provide for the whole family as the breadwinner.

‘Many Autistic people struggle to function in employment, mostly because of employers misunderstanding and inability to accommodate their needs, and this can cause incredible distress on Autistic people and their families,’ she said.

‘My husband can focus on his wellbeing, while maintaining the house and doing the school runs,’ she added.

In her first year on the site, Audrey was working more than 100 hours a week and didn’t take a day off for months.

‘I definitely burnt myself out from overworking, which is extremely common in this business, but there is so much to do and not enough hours in the day to get it all done,’ she said.

‘I’m still recovering from overworking myself and am cautious to take more time for self care now.’

Now, Audrey said she spends most of her day chatting to fans, organising and scheduling content and marketing on social media.

She’s also launching a ‘masterclass’ in May to teach aspiring OnlyFans stars the tricks of the trade.

‘Creating content for my social media accounts takes up more time than the content for my actual OnlyFans,’ Audrey said.

‘It provides no marketing for their creators – with no home page, categories or search function, creators are left to their own devices. Most creators turn to social media to advertise their racy pages.’

‘I spend most of my day on the couch, or sitting at my computer, usually still in my pyjamas.’

On most days Audrey sleeps in until midday and starts the majority of her work after 8pm when her toddler goes to bed.

‘I film content and do photoshoots a couple of days each month, usually at an Air BNB. I spend a lot of time chatting to my fans about their day, or how work was, or what hobbies they’re into,’ she said.

‘Subscribers are looking for the personal experience and that doesn’t always mean sexual engagement.’

And while the young star loves the job, she has had a fair share of bizarre requests from men who ask to see her ‘jiggle her fat’ on camera.

The plus-sized star told FEMAIL she was once very self conscious about her weight – but her strong following on the site has made her love her body.

‘It’s given me the opportunity to embrace my body and have more confidence in myself and opened my eyes to see how many people have interest in plus size women,’ she said.

‘I was super surprised when my first custom request was simply a video of myself star-jumping, but nude. I was more than willing to comply, but it definitely wasn’t the most comfortable thing I’ve done, physically speaking.’

‘Large breasts and jumping don’t go well together, even when a sports bra is involved. Doing star-jumps while turning in a circle to show all angles, was probably the most painful request I’ve ever done.’

‘I think it’s empowering to know that plus size people aren’t always seen as disgusting, like society portrays us, and there are people who see us as beautiful and sexy.’
