Mom Interrupts Reporter At Work To Show Him Some Love And Support

A mother’s love knows no bounds, and sometimes, it knows no boundaries.

Multimedia journalist Myles Harris found this out for himself while reporting on a story in Columbus, Ohio earlier this month.

In a viral video shared on social media, Myles can be seen standing across the street with a Roosters Wings restaurant in the background. He’s getting set up for his shot with his videographer, DeAngelo Byrd, when he spots something from the corner of his eye.

Turning to the side, Myles pauses for a few seconds before saying, “This is my mom, hold on.” Moments later a car rolls into the shot and Myles’ mom, Sandi, comes into view. “Hi, baby!” Sandi shouts from the car as she waves.

“I’m trying to work right now, and you’re over there calling my phone. This is DeAngelo. You can say, ‘Hi.’ And don’t be holding up traffic because you got cars behind you,” Myles said.

Sandi replies, “Oh, alright,” before blowing a kiss and driving away. It’s incredibly sweet and shows just how much Sandi loves her baby boy!

According to the New York Post, Myles was on scene to report on a crime that happened at the restaurant across from him. It’s unclear exactly how the story unfolded, but the pre-shot with his mom definitely stole the show.

Myles shared the video on Instagram and it wasn’t long before it went viral and caught the attention of people around the world.
