But Davide Sanclimenti, 27, was left fuming on Thursday evening as fellow islander Luca Bish, 23, pulled Gemma for a chat to make his move on the beauty.
Less than impressed, Davide told the boys that his problem wasn’t that Luca was interested in Gemma, but that he ‘didn’t have the balls to come and tell me’.

The dramatic episode saw bombshells Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and Afia Tonkmor make their entrance, but unexpectedly ended with even more drama as Luca admitted he wanted to get to know Gemma.
Inviting the dressage champion up to the terrace for a chat, Luca revealed his attraction to her and suggested getting to know each other better.
While Gemma said she felt the same, sharing that she felt he would ‘get along with my family’ the best out of all the boys in the villa.

The pair ended the conversation with Luca revealing he wanted to kiss Gemma, and the brunette replying ‘not yet’.

Quipping back, Davide replied: ‘I know because I suspect and because I have emotional intelligence and I know things before they happen’.
While Ikenna giggled and went to fist-bump Davide, the Italian hunk remained stoney-faced, adding: ‘He thinks i’m stupid, I was born ages before him’.

The surprise backtrack comes just a day after Gemma and Davide’s first date, where they discussed marriage and children.
While Luca has been going strong with Paige, telling the Swansea native that she was ‘the top of my list’ earlier on in the episode.
But with the arrival of two new bombshells in Afia and Ekin-Su, and the latter’s sights set on Davide, it seems to have left Gemma running into the open arms of Luca.
