The Moon is waning. At the start of the week she rises around midnight at half mast and sets around noon the next day. As the week progresses, she will rise later and later in the early morning hours, and each time appear smaller and smaller in the night sky. As a result, we may find that our emotional reserves gradually dwindle as the week marches on. We are turning inward. It is a time to regroup, process and integrate all that we experienced at the time of the Full Moon last week.

The week begins with the Moon at the start of it’s 4th quarter phase – meaning that it’s at a square with the Sun. The two celestial luminaries are at odds with each other this Monday, suggesting that we may find ourselves at odds with the people around us – especially those of the opposite sex. There is friction in the air for no apparent reason. People are more stubborn than usual. There is a feeling of rebellion in the air.

Lookout for unexpected events on Tuesday. The Moon in Aquarius is adding an electric feeling to the day. Anything is possible. Surprise events are coming from out of the blue. Be open to things that you didn’t plan on. Opportunities open up where you least expect them. Also take note that it is a good time to connect with people of like-minds. Come together with your tribe – your chosen family – those whom you resonate with on a soul level. Find nourishment in your spiritual community – either in-person or virtually.

There is a soft, compassionate feeling in the air on Wednesday. People are feeling extra sensitive – and vulnerable. The Moon is making a favorable angle to the Sun, suggesting that we have an opportunity to smooth out tension that may have erupted during the beginning of the week. Wednesday is a good day to make amends. Forgive others and ask for forgiveness from others. Expose your tender, sensitive insides.

Thursday is a wonderful time for creative activities. Art, music, writing and dance are all favored. If you are into electronic music and also love mantra, you might want to check out “Mantra Evolution” by Kamari & Manvir. This album will keep your body moving and your spirit soaring with tracks like “Om Namah Shivaya”, “Wahe Guru Wahe Jio”, and “I am Thine”, recorded in the new genre, “Lite House.” Bring the spirit of “Conscious Clubbing” to your dance party, yoga class or living room with this upbeat, uplifting album.

The day gets going at 8am EST (5am PST) on Friday when the Moon moves into Aries. For the rest of the day we feel an urge to get going, get moving, get the ball rolling. There is an aggressive edge to the day. Everyone wants to be first. Feeling competitive? That’s why. Take your energy to the gym or out for a long walk. Extra physical energy is at your disposal. That which is not given a healthy outlet of expression can easily turn into outburst of anger and aggression towards those around us.

This energy of the ram carries over into Saturday. Get physical! This is a good day to work out in the garden or tackle home projects that require your brawn. It is also a good day for pioneering. Move forward with plans that have been lying dormant. Make a first move toward someone you have your eye on. Be brave. Your inner warrior is awakening.

Sunday is Mother’s Day. Connect with your Mother! Go for a walk together. Enjoy the outside. It is a good time to remember your connection with Mother Earth as well. Create an artistic expression of love and gratitude toward your Mother. Be bold with your words and actions. This evening, the Taurus Moon encourages everyone to slow down, relax and enjoy. Celebrate with a good meal. If you are a Mother, remember to celebrate yourself. Be open to receiving a massage from the ones you love. There is much to be thankful for. Indulge the five senses. Listen to uplifting music. Enjoy the comfort of your surroundings. Be grateful for what you have instead of focusing your attention on acquiring more.
