The Moon is growing! It is a time to nurture the dreams and goals that you set for yourself at the time of the New Moon last Friday. Our emotional energy is on the rise. Use this to your advantage. Tackle physical challenges. Our energy is naturally more outwardly-directed. Grow your dreams as the Moon grows each night.
Monday is a topsy-turvy day. Everyone and everything is uncertain. The Moon is void-of-course from 8:30am EST (5:30am PST) onward. As a result, our intuition is off. We have lost our sense of direction. Postpone weekly strategy meetings for another day! Take the day off from work completely, if possible. It is best to stick to routine tasks as opposed to trying to break ground on something new.
Tuesday is the day to get things in order. The analytical part of your brain is in overdrive. Get organized. Take care of business. You will be feeling grounded and practical. Attend to the details. Just make sure you don’t get caught up in negativity towards yourself or others. Keep your critical mind in check.
Get serious about self-care on Wednesday. Assess your daily routine and ask yourself honestly what is working or what’s not. Be honest with yourself with regard to what no longer serves you. Be more conscious of what you are putting into your body. Notice how daily eating habits could be improved. Make a commitment to yourself to improve the state of your health. Do you have a daily practice? Maybe you have let it fall by the wayside. Now is the time to get back in the groove. Speaking of groove, if you are looking for some new music to infuse into your practice, consider “Maha Mata” by Earth. This gorgeous 7-track album calls on the energy of the divine feminine through tracks like “Adi Shakti” and “Poota Mata”. Include it in your yoga class or make it a part of your daily practice. Chant along and feel the support of the creative divine mother energy.
You may wake up feeling foggy on Thursday, but by 10:30am EST (7:30am PST), the clouds should clear. At this time the Moon enters balanced Libra, and we are called to make peace. It is a day of connections. Reach out to people that you haven’t seen in a while – or maybe those you haven’t gotten along with so well lately. This is a time to make amends instead of letting wounds fester or letting hard feelings worsen. Feel greater camaraderie with people at work. Connect in new ways. Share and listen to others.
Friday is a great day – and night – for romance. Also, treat yourself to a wardrobe upgrade. Splurge on yourself. Buy Something new. Consider having a spa day. Maybe a haircut. Get a manicure or pedicure along with it. It is a day to honor the beauty in yourself. Do something that makes you feel beautiful. Then enjoy a romantic date this evening with someone you love.
The lovey-dovey feelings fade a bit on Saturday thanks to the 2nd Quarter Moon. This is the day that the Sun is at an exact square with the Moon, thus reflecting tension between the masculine and feminine polarity here on Earth. Don’t be surprised if people are extra snappy toward each other – especially after 2:30pm EST (11:30am PST) when the Moon moves into extreme Scorpio. Before this time we are out of sorts in a different way. With the Moon void-of-course all morning, we are operating without our intuition or sense of direction. Use the morning for routine tasks. Use the afternoon and evening to get things done.
Everyone is either hot or cold on Sunday. There is no middle ground. Small issues easily erupt into huge ordeals. Hidden issues come to the surface. Difficulties are erupting. Get to the core of difficulties instead of just dealing with the events on the surface. Consider this an opportunity to take care of things that have been brewing for quite some time. Your inner detective is sharp. Be honest with others with regard to your feelings, regardless of how difficult it may be to do so in the moment.
