They’re known for their hilarious pranks and cheeky banter as the hosts of KIIS FM’s national drive show Will & Woody.
But things took a serious turn for Will McMahon and Woody Whitelaw on Tuesday when the pair apologised to a former colleague for their ‘d**khead’ behaviour from almost a decade ago.
The duo were discussing whether it is ever too late to offer someone an apology for bad behaviour in the past when they confessed they still felt bad over a gross prank they pulled on Jo Stanley years earlier.

Will and Woody spent two weeks working the night shift at Fox FM, sitting at the same desk used by Jo and her co-host Matt Tilley used for the breakfast slot.
Will explained that Woody thought it would be funny to fart into his microphone – the same mic Jo would use the next morning when she came in for her show.
‘It wasn’t out of spite for Jo or anything! You have to remember that it was two in the morning, we were 21-year-old kids, and there was a reason I used to do it,’ Will said.

Will added that he would turn the station’s speakers up and see if the fart could be heard throughout the building.
‘But [Jo] was collateral, and I feel like Jo deserves an apology,’ he explained before calling her on air.
After she picked up, he explained the situation to and she responded: ‘Right. So you’re saying you farted into my microphone?’

Jo acknowledged that ‘radio back then was basically founded on fart jokes’ and saying ‘there were much worse smells I dealt with’ at Fox FM.
‘So, Jo, is that apology accepted?’ the pair then asked in excitement.
Jo said she ‘couldn’t care less’ about the prank and actually thought the boys wanted to apologise for going barefoot in the studio back in the day even though she had repeatedly asked them to wear shoes.
