LAST MONTH’S SURVEY QUESTION:

In last month’s edition of Diabetes Bites, we asked what is your preferred method for receiving your diabetes care and education? Here are the results:

10% Always in-person

43% Always in-person for scheduled appointments, virtual between appointments

37% Virtual for most care, but occasionally in-person

10% 100% virtual

Clearly, there is no one approach that works best for everyone. Hopefully, healthcare providers will strive to offer both in-person and virtual care so as to best meet the needs of the individual patient (customer).

Note: Integrated Diabetes Services continues to offer in-office care at our Philadelphia-area office, with virtual care also available to everyone via phone, video, email, and text messaging.
