A three-year-old Texas boy battling cancer is putting up the fight of his life with help from his parents.
Leone Hernandez has spent the majority of this past year fighting acute lymphocytic leukemia at Children’s Medical Center in Dallas.

That’s when they decided to dress him up as Superman, since he loves superheroes, and who is stronger than Superman? They thought that dressing him as a superhero would remind Leone that he’s strong and can take on anything.
But instead of letting him dress up alone, his parents came up with a great idea. They decided to dress up, too!
For every chemo visit and doctor’s appointment, Leone’s parents and older brother, Emiliano, dress up in superhero costumes. They’ve dressed up as everything from The Incredibles and Captain America, to Spider-Man and Batman.
“We believe we have the superpowers that we need to face this battle,” Natalia told KKTV. “We have to make sure Leo feels that.”
Leone’s family has made a world of a difference in his battle with cancer. The family’s love for each other is unconditional, and little Leone has even taught his family that everything in life is possible.
The soon-to-be four-year-old will continue to use his superpowers to help him get through his treatments, with the help and support from his family.
