Emergency outside Dan Andrew’s office in Melbourne, in Noble park

Emergency services have been spotted outside Dan Andrews’ office in Melbourne.

A portion of the street has been shut down with ambulance, police and fire services at the scene.

A Victoria Police spokesperson confirmed to Daily Mail Australia they were called to an office on Princes Highway ‘following reports of a suspect item’ at about 10.20am.

‘The area has been cordoned off while police and emergency services assess the scene and conduct a safety check,’ the statement continued.

‘The area has been deemed safe.’
