Channel 10 has announced yet another talent shake-up following weeks of high-profile resignations and musical chairs among its hosts.
Veteran presenter Narelda Jacobs has officially quit her role hosting the network’s 5pm Perth news bulletin, after 14 years in the role.
A Ten spokesperson confirmed the news to TV Blackbox on Thursday, adding that ‘an announcement for her replacement is imminent’.

Jacobs has plenty to keep her busy at the network as she prepares to host Ten’s new one-hour news bulletin, 10 News First: Midday.
The news segment is scheduled to take over one hour of Studio 10’s time slot in 2023.
Jacobs will also remain as a co-host on Studio 10, which will move to a 10am timeslot in January.

It’s the latest in a string of switch-ups at Ten, following the departure of The Project’s Lisa Wilkinson, Carrie Bickmore and Peter Helliar.
Sarah Harris has also departed Studio 10 to replace Bickmore as anchor of The Project.
Channel 10 has had a tumultuous year of poor ratings and dwindling advertising dollars as it struggles to compete against rival networks.

Earlier this month, the television giant axed its new show 10 News First: Breakfast following a spate of disastrous ratings.
During its first five days on air, the show drew an average of just 17,000 viewers across the five major cities.
The outcome set a new record for the worst-rated program in Australian TV history.
