Australian researchers say users of Canadian app note inhaled products offer quicker relief for pain than oral products.
Women using the Canadian-based Strainprint Technologies Ltd. app reported that cannabis helped to reduce the discomfort of endometriosis-related symptoms like pelvic pain, poor mood and gastrointestinal symptoms.
Endometriosis is associated with a variety of symptoms, including chronic pelvic pain, fatigue, period pain, painful sex, painful bowel movements and pain related to urination. Anxiety and/or depression, irritable bowel syndrome-like symptoms and significant fatigue are also reported, notes the paper, published online this week in PLoS One.
