Bride’s Daughter Surprises Groom With Adoption Request During Wedding Ceremony

Just because someone is not blood-related to you, doesn’t mean you don’t consider them family. A lot of people who are raised by a step-mom or a step-dad consider them like a real parent.

For twelve-year-old Aryanna, her mom’s partner, Frank, has always been a dad to her for the past seven years. Now that her mom is marrying Frank, he would officially become her step-dad, but she wanted so much more than that.

During the wedding ceremony, Aryanna stepped up to the altar where her mom and Frank were about to get married and handed the groom a surprise envelope.

Wondering what it could be, Frank began opening the letter but had no idea the emotions that would follow.

“I’ve waited 2,555 days for this moment,” Aryanna said as her step-dad read the paper. “Frank, will you be my dad?”

Frank wiped tears from his eyes and gave his daughter a big hug.

“I love you,” he said to Aryanna. “I’d be happy to. Thank you very much.”

Frank wasn’t the only one with tears in his eyes. Even though most people already knew this request was happening – except for Frank of course – there wasn’t a dry eye in the place!

The two even had a special father daughter dance during the reception.

It’s safe to say that Frank has always considered Aryanna a daughter from day one, but now they are just waiting to receive a court date to make the adoption official!
