Four teenagers have been arrested after shocking footage captured an allegedly stolen car ramming into a police vehicle.

Police had caught up to a blue Mitsubishi ASX that had stopped near the intersection of Finucane Road and Cambridge Drive, in Alexandra Hills, southeast of Brisbane, on Saturday around 9am.

Dashcam footage captured the police car pulling up to the side of the Mitsubishi and attempting to block its path.

A male officer then exits the car and walks towards the allegedly stolen vehicle which then suddenly reverses.

The blue car then jolts forward, ramming into a Mercedes sedan, before reversing into a cement truck beside it.

As the officer frantically tries to stop the driver, the Mitsubishi then smashes into the police car, with two of its wheels mounting the vehicle.
