Waiting for a baby to arrive is an exciting time filled with hope, joy, and anticipation. Parents generally begin filling the nursery and getting all settled in before a baby arrives.
Tragically, not all expectant parents get to welcome home a healthy baby. Sometimes babies are lost, either during pregnancy or during labor and delivery.

It’s not something any parent should have to experience, but it’s a reality that many face.

One woman from Cokato, MN was all ready to welcome her new son home, but then she got the horrible news: her son didn’t make it. According to a report from Fox News, he had been stillborn, which left the woman heartbroken.
Not sure what to do with all of the baby items she’d gathered, the woman held a garage sale and put some of her late son’s belongings up for sale, including his crib.

A man ended up coming along and buying the crib, learning in the process that it was supposed to be for a baby that didn’t survive.
Moved by the story, he decided to transform the crib into something beautiful and gift it back to the mourning mother.

The man took the crib to his shop and turned it into a memorial bench for the mom. She was blown away by the act of generosity and thankful to have the memorial for her home.
