There are two types of people in this world, those who love the thrill of doing something dangerous and those who try their best to avoid it.

Rut Larsson is one of those individuals who loves the thrill, and even at 103, she is still loving it.

In fact, she was 101 years old in 2019 when she jumped out of an airplane for the first time. Believe it or not, it wasn’t a world record because an American held that record. Kathryn Hodges was 103 when she jumped out of a plane.

Not one to be outdone, Larsson decided to take to the air again and she jumped from the plane, but this time it was done recently when she was 103 years old.

She was harnessed to Joackim Johansson when she left out of the plane and because of her age, she was able to top the world record by several months.

That previous record, held by Kathryn Hodges, was set at 103 years and 129 days. Larsson, who is from Switzerland, was 103 years and 259 days old when she took the leap this last time.

According to Euronews, she even admitted that she wanted to beat the record held by the American woman, but she had to wait before she did so.

She ends up saying: “It was wonderful to do this, I’ve been thinking about it for a long time.”

You have the opportunity to watch her take that famous jump and set the world record in the following video. Perhaps it may even inspire you to do greater things.
