One of the more sentimental traditions when it comes to weddings is for the bride to wear her mother’s wedding gown. And this girl had an early try-on with her mother’s wedding dress.
The reel above shows 4-year-old Riley drowning in her mother’s dress. Her mom, Kayla, owns a Youtube channel with almost 130k subscribers where she posts vlogs of her journey through motherhood. She often posts tips on parenting and lifestyle, and she posted her “MOM VLOG” of Riley trying on her wedding dress last month just for fun. Riley’s part of the vlog is in the first 6 minutes if you want to watch it in the video below.
Kayla mentioned that whenever she shows pictures of her wedding to her daughter, Riley always gets mad at her for not inviting her to her wedding. As Riley hadn’t even been born yet and wasn’t “even a thought at that point yet,” it wasn’t really a possibility. But to make it up to her daughter, she figured that maybe Riley would like to at least see her dress. Then she decided to have her daughter try on her wedding dress to make her feel somehow connected to the wedding.

Some comments say that they teared up, some actually cried, and they are all just cooing over how adorable the little toddler is while wearing her mother’s wedding dress.
In the vlog, before the dress was revealed, Riley said that she had been “dying to see it,” but immediately corrected herself: “Not dying, like, I really wanna see it.”
Riley expressed her excitement when her mom showed her the dress and told her mom to wear it and that she wants to see her mom in it.
