Amazon Driver Praised For Saving A Man’s Life

Amazon deliveries have become a way of life for most of us during the pandemic. We have become accustomed to seeing the delivery drivers pull up out front and run-up to the door with a package in hand.

There may also be times when they do a little more and they occasionally get recognized for it.

That was certainly the case when an Amazon driver potentially saved the life of one father in a Washington family.

Donald Crisman was on his front porch and he was calling for help. Unfortunately, his wife couldn’t hear him and had no idea that he was dying.

It seems as if Donald suffered from an intestinal aneurysm and he would’ve died on the front porch if it weren’t for the assistance of an Amazon driver.

It just so happened that she was making a delivery on the street when she saw Crisman and took action.

The scene was caught on the family security camera and shared by his daughter on Facebook. It shows the Amazon driver speaking to 911 and confirming the address.

Their daughter, Maddie, had the following to say on Facebook: “This woman was not delivering a package to my parents, but when she drove by and saw my dad she stopped and immediately called 911 and ran up to the door where my mom was in the shower and couldn’t hear him. She went and checked on him before running and continuing to knock on the door.”

If we weren’t for the quick thinking of the driver, it is likely that Crisman would have died on the porch. Thankfully, he is expected to live.

Maddie also updated Facebook on her father’s condition. He had surgery to repair the intestinal aneurysm and it was a success. He was still struggling, and according to a later Facebook update, they were able to successfully take him off of the ventilator, but he’s still not doing well.

On March 21 Maddie shared that her dad is still in the ICU fighting for his life, but it’s thanks to the Amazing driver that he has the chance to fight at all.
