When Parikshit Balochi boarded a flight from the United Arab Emirates to Albania, he had the pleasure of sitting next to a family with a young child.
While most people prefer to sit away from kids on long flights, Balochi was fine with being near the child and seemed to enjoy it!
However, the young boy wasn’t enjoying the 5-hour-flight. He was upset and started crying and throwing a tantrum, any parents nightmare while on a flight!
Photo: LIBRESHOTThe parents were naturally trying to calm their child, but they weren’t having any luck with the task. But that’s when something amazing happened. In an interview with Insider, Balochi said a passenger sitting behind the family started to quietly sing “Baby Shark” to help calm the child down.
The passenger was trying to avoid making a scene while helping the child (who Balochi estimated was around 4-years-old).

Balochi heard the song and decided to help out. He started singing along, much louder, and soon other began to join!
It wasn’t long before several passengers were blurting out the Baby Shark song and the boy’s dad stood up to dance with him. Balochi got a small clip of the sweet moment and you can see that the situation helped calm the boy.

It may not be a typical flight, but it’s nice that the passengers were willing to help the family in need!
