The holiday season is known to be a time for giving. People give gifts, but it goes beyond that into acts of kindness and doing good deeds for strangers.
There’s just something about the holidays that encourages the spirit of giving, and one healthcare company is looking to add to that by a kindness campaign they started using the hashtag #SpreadJoy.
The world’s largest independent digital health agency, Klick Health, started the campaign by gifting each of its employees $100 cash. They mailed a box to each employee with the money, along with simple instructions: Spread joy.

Participants then submitted clips of their good deeds to the health company. In a video of some of the acts of kindness, you can see money being gifted to a variety of people from a cashier to a cleaning lady to a neighbor and bus driver.

Other people approached the task differently, using the money to purchase items to give away. Some purchase pizza for a police station, others used the funds to buy coats, books, and dog toys to give away.
Some tipped the $100 to street performers, and one person created a bouquet with flowers shaped out of dollar bills to give away.

After compiling a video of the employees spreading joy, the company shared it on YouTube and added their own touch of kindness. They said, “For each view, Klick will donate $1 (up to $10,000) to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, who creates hope through life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses.”
The video received well over 3.5 million views, blowing the 10,000 mark out of the water. Watch the video below:
