I am very excited to announce that UW Medicine Heart Institute just became the newest sponsor of HeartValveSurgery.com.

UW Medicine Heart Institute, in Seattle, Washington, has a very unique approach to heart valve surgery developed by Dr. Gabriel Aldea, Dr. Chris Burke, Dr. Scott Deroo, Dr. Lara Oyetunji and Dr. David Mauchley.

The UW Medicine team of surgeons are board certified subspecialists driving clinical and research innovation. This level of expertise allows the UW Medicine team to perform advanced treatments for each of the aortic, the mitral, the tricuspid and the pulmonary valves.

In addition, the UW Medicine Heart Institute has assembled an elite team of interventional cardiologists – including Dr. Jamie McCabe, Dr. Christine Chung, and Dr. Don Creighton – that focus on transcatheter therapies for heart valve repair and replacement procedures.

In fact, the UW Medicine Heart Institute was one of the first TAVR programs in the country and now leads the way with innovations in aortic valve preservation and replacement.

UW Medicine Heart Valve Microsite Launches!

To help educate the patients at HeartValveSurgery.com about UW Medicine Heart Institute and its approach to all forms of surgical and interventional valve therapies, we just launched a new UW Medicine Heart Institute microsite at this link.
