I’m a bit addicted to our Peloton.
This next-gen athletic gear has completely transformed my approach to fitness. I feel great. I have more energy. Thankfully, as someone who has struggled with insomnia, I now sleep like a baby. And, I’ve unexpectedly lost 12 pounds.
One of the fun parts of riding a Peloton is when an instructor sends a live “shout-out” to a community member during class. So far, I’ve been fortunate to score shout-outs from Robin Arzon and Jess King.
I’m happy to share that on my recent 800th ride, I got a shout-out from the one-and-only Alex Toussaint. As you may already know, Alex is an extremely motivational coach who inspires students with uplifting catch phrases (Feel Good! Look Good! Do Better!), innovative classes (e.g., the Last Dance and Ride to Greatness) and honest perspectives on the challenges we all face on a day-to-day basis.
Alex is 100% Authentic
What I admire most about Alex is his authentic ability to integrate life learnings, feelings and emotions within an interactive, fitness environment to empower the minds and bodies of his students.
When I get off the bike after an A.T. session, I am transformed – physically and mentally.
Important Note: If Alex just had a haircut or a nap that day…. Watch out!
Those classes are typically epic.
Is An Alex Toussaint Movement Upon Us?
I’m not alone in my thinking about Toussaint. Alex’s following keeps growing and growing. On his Michael Jordan ride, Alex had over 27,000 riders in his class… LIVE!!!
Imagine that!
No really.
Stop.
Imagine that!
27,000 people around the world celebrating the life of NBA-star Michael Jordan on a bike that goes absolutely nowhere all because Alex Toussaint focused and powered up the Peloton community.
Crazy.
Folks like Carson Daly, from the Today Show, are dialed into the Alex Toussaint movement. Yep, Carson is “certifying the vibe check” and “validating” the spin intervals as you can seen in this recent feature on the Today Show.
No, This Ain’t Day Care!
Many, many, many thanks to Alex Toussaint for his ongoing commitment to bettering himself and the people around him.
Alex is a big believer that every day is a gift. And, we should consider ourselves thankful and lucky that we simply woke up this morning.
So you know, I’m just waking up. I’m thankful. And, I’m lucky that I’m about to get on a new “Ride to Greatness” session with Alex.
You can learn more about Alex at his Peloton instructor biography or his Instagram.
